1.
A blur of lights. Glass on glass. A distant flicker through a prism of panes. A single beam in a blinding sea of colour. Pale and broken. Slower now we’ve started moving. Overload. The sound of glass. Piece by piece. A distant shatter breaks through layers of lines. A single shard like a splinter in the silence. Cold and empty. Slower now we’ve started moving. Overload. Don’t blink or you’ll miss it. Don’t blink or you’ll miss it. Take a breath. Don’t blink or you’ll miss it. Here it comes again. Overload. The moment’s gone. Frame by frame. A distant second in the passing of time. A single strike and the hands of time are falling. Lost and fleeting. Slower now we’ve started moving. Overload.

Balloon Tree 04:12
Meet me under the balloon tree. If you ever believe in me.
3.
Fall, fall, stories from everywhere Fall, fall, stories from everywhere I will catch those falling words.
4.
Rest Bite 01:03
Hold your tongue. Watch what you say.
5.
When the curtains close, And the daylight fades. When the ceiling turns into the sky. When the darkness falls And the evening shade Set the stage right in front of my eyes. The cast becoming clear The shadows drawing near The room moves silently round. Shapes in the dark Which save me from sleep Here with me. Night time wakes The shadows running free Here while he sleeps The silhouettes and me Night time stirs The dark is all around Here where shadows creep Where shadows make no sound Alone in the dark I will be. When I watch them fade Through the gap in my hands. When they twist and they turn in the air. When they draw me in On another night time tale Turn my head and I know they’re still there. Before my heavy eyes I see through their disguise. I’m wrapped in the dark in my bed. Silent and still They lead me to fall In to sleep. Night time wakes The shadows running free Here while he sleeps The silhouettes and me Night time stirs The dark is all around Here where shadows creep Where shadows make no sound Alone in the dark I will be.

Adventure Us 03:18
In these walls we are mythical Here within these walls In these streets we've always known We are gods, we are drunks In these streets we've always known We are saints, we are punks Go your way Blinking in the light

about

'blink blink' is a celebration of the human voice. It is a collection of songs which use vocal sounds and textures to take the listener somewhere else. All six songs respond to those moments when we close our eyes and retreat into our own heads, hence the title 'blink blink'. This collection sings about escapism, playfulness and delving into our imaginations.
